What is Daima service
It is a service which enables customers to keep their lines active for a period of 6 months up to 2 years without further topping up. Safaricom customers have welcomed the move positively because they have been losing access to their lines after 6 months of their lines being inactive.
The service will benefit customers who have travelled to overseas countries for a long period of time, Those living abroad for long period of time, Customers who are away at school, Away at police and army training and those who have multiple lines they wish to keep active.
How much is Daima service fee
Customers who want to activate the service will be required to pay a service fee depending on the period of time they want to keep their lines active. Each package will provide 20 minutes calling time and 20 sms across all networks every month.
You can keep your line active for a period of 6 months, 1 year or 2 years. Safaricom subscribers will be required to pay the following amount for each package.

✓shs 500 for 1 year
✓ shs 1000 for 2 years
